Kilimo Biashara Forum is organized and implemented by Shamba Box. The initiative launched in Dodoma on 8th April 2017 by Hon. Antony Peter Mavunde (Deputy Minister responsible for Labor, Employment and Youth).

On the launching day 720+ smallholder farmers, graduates, higher learning Students, Youth, women, NGOs, Tele-Company, Banks and decision makers participated effectively.

On the day we focused much on challenges; obstacles and opportunities of investing to Agribusiness in Tanzania and how to bring youth on board.

Kilimo Biashara Forum aims to connect participants to financial Institutions, Experts, Policy Makers, Agricultural Insurance Companies, Seed Suppliers, Agricultural tool and equipment suppliers, Agricultural Agencies, Aggro processors, Agricultural Associations and Companies e.t.c, advocate for laws and policies that support Agricultural Sector in Tanzania eg ASDP II and Agricultural Policy.

Especially to those who are socially marginalized, unemployed and living in strained circumstances (poverty).

We do all these activities to advocate for laws and policies that support Agricultural Sector in Tanzania eg ASDP II and Agricultural Policy. Especially to those who are socially marginalized, unemployed and living in strained circumstances (poverty).

For the past (2) two years we have conducted various activities and connected more the 500+ smallholder farmer to Organisations and Companies in Agricultural sector in Tanzania and also attain the following:

Based on our studies, inclusivity is what will keep this Platforrm afloat, making it an important factor to consider in planning. Consistency is our top priority as we want to be able to serve everyone equally and to the best of our abilities.
